London
Having fallen in love with London earlier this year, it was the perfect stop on my way to Greece.
Even if you only have a few days, London does not disappoint. The city has struck the balance of energy and calm. It’s bustling, but there are tree lined streets and it somehow feels spacious.
Staying at The Pilgrm Hotel puts you steps away from Paddington station and makes it very easy to access if you travel by train (thank you airport express!). Pilgrm is a new-ish hotel that has breathed new life into an old building and aims to provide a communal hotel experience at a good value. What it lacks in typical hotel frills (I would recommend not visiting when temps are hot), it makes up for in simple and considered design.
Steps out the front door, you will find gorgeous Norfolk Square, the perfect place to sit and read a book in the quiet shade. The neighborhood is full of cute streets and mews to wander through, including Little Venice—lush walking paths along the canals.
If you find yourself in London, you will find yourself endlessly inspired.
