Yosemite, California 2017
Yosemite valley is the ultimate California summer camping experience.
Waking up beneath the pine trees to the smell of coffee being made is not a bad way to start the day. Making your way through the park, whether to go on a hike or get ice cream at Half Dome Village, you will be greeted by towering rock formations at every turn.
One of our favorite activities is packing food and drinks and finding a spot along the river to lounge in a hammock, play lawn games, and just hang out.
When the weather is toasty, a dip in the chilly river will cool you right off, and a float down the river is a great way to spend an afternoon. Although, don't forget that you'll have to hike or hitch hike as far as you float to get back!
Welcome the evening with food cooked over the fire and drinks shared between friends. A campfire provides the best evening entertainment, welcoming stories and s'mores.
